1. Nero – Welcome To Reality Free Downloads
One of the most fulfilling electronic albums to come out in the last couple years, coupling orchestral grandeur and cinematic soundscapes with uk bass and excellent pop melodies.
2. Siriusmo – Mosaik Free Downloads
This bizarre and contemplative collection of sounds operates similarly to a fine foreign film; you probably won’t revisit it every day but you definitely need to experience it at least once.
3. Metronomy – The English Riviera Free Downloads
Their ode to a fictional beachside town serves as the perfect soundtrack to a lazy sunny afternoon.
4. SBTRKT – SBTRKT Free Downloads
Tribal vibes meet modern production styles to create a listening experience that’s both soulful and futuristic.
5. Friendly Fires – Pala Free Downloads
Friendly Fires meet the “bad sophomore album” curse head on with a collection of melodies every bit as catchy and enjoyable as those on their debut.
6. Cults – Cults Free Downloads
Cults’ debut is stuffed with simple, lovely pop songs that will stick in your head long after you’ve taken your headphones off.
7. Surkin – USA Free Downloads
Many of 2k7′s all star crew released full lengths in 2011 but few were able to release anything as fun and true to their original form as Surkin’s sophomore release, USA.
8. Holy Ghost! – Holy Ghost! Free Downloads
Holy Ghost! are the poster-children of current New-York disco. Backed by the powerful force of DFA, they’ve put together a collection of memorable disco cuts that are impossible not to dance to.
9. M83 – Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming Free Downloads
Plenty of artists borrow from past sounds but none with such eloquence as M83, who’s dreamy 2011 double album had some of the best singles of the year.
10. Cut Copy – Zonoscope Free Downloads
Definitely the most boring album Cut Copy have released so far. Even notable singles like “Pharaohs & Pyramids” and “Need You Now” sound sluggish compared to any of the vibrant and colorful tracks off In Ghost Colors or Bright Like Neon Love. Despite its setbacks, it’s still worth a good few listens.
