Pink definitely knows how to leave a crowd speechless!
The 34-year-old performer did just that on Tuesday at the 2013 Billboard Women in Music Awards in New York City when she was honored as Billboard Magazine's Woman of the Year and delivered a heartfelt acceptance speech peppered with wisecracks about her fellow pop stars. "What do you say when someone says, 'Hey, you're woman of the year'? If you are me, you think of all the other women out there who deserve it more. Hilary Clinton, Angelina Jolie … Miley Cyrus if you're high as s--t and really into tongues," she joked, before adding that she was humbled and grateful for the honor. It's been a great 2013 for the platinum-haired babe, who scored two Grammy nominations (Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance) for her chart-topper, "Just Give Me a Reason," with Fun! frontman Nate Ruess.

The songbird, who was accompanied by her husband Carey Hart at the gala, also noted that she hopes her legacy will be about more than just her music. "I wish to be remembered for my humor and my passion, but most of all my ability to go from angel to asshole in 3.5 seconds," she said to the crowd before revealing her biggest inspirations this year. "My husband Carey, whom I love with my whole being. I know it may come as a shock to some of you, but being married to me cannot be an easy task. We created this beautiful baby girl, who has been my greatest teacher." Aw!

Pink also gave a shout out to her fellow Billboard Award winner Janelle Monáe, who snapped up the Rising Star award from the music magazine. Monáe's own acceptance speech was powerful and moving, much like her latest album "The Electric Lady." "I am just so humbled and honored to be recognized at such an early stage in my career," she said before acknowledging her mother and grandmother, whom she revealed both worked hard as single parents to give her the opportunity to succeed.

"[My mother] proudly wore a uniform every day as she served the community and the school district for many years as a custodian. [My mother and grandmother] both wore uniforms, and that's why I wear my black and white, my uniform this afternoon, to honor them." The soiree, hosted by Soledad O'Brien and sponsored by Target, was filled with star power and several musicians were on tap to celebrate the honorees. Tegan and Sara performed two songs in Pink's honor, "Just Like A Pill" and their own special version of "I Was a Fool," while Scottish band Chvrches paid homage to Monáe with a version of "Tightrope" and their own song, "The Mother We Share."

Christina Perri, who recently announced she'll be releasing her second album, also performed her new song, "Human." The day was perfectly timed as a precursor for Pink's Grammy run, but even if she doesn't take home Grammy gold on January 26, she's already a winner: "Billboard f--cking magazine made me woman of the year! I win."
